As urban sports brand Oneup’s first offline space in South China, the Shenzhen MixC store translates its online identity into physical retail. Centered on 'use scenarios,' the design seamlessly integrates movement and daily life for a cross-scenario experience.

The store layout is divided into two areas: a front hall and a back hall. In the front hall, four columns establish spatial order, with the structure itself organizing circulation and sightlines. Through a restrained spatial approach, the front hall occupies a state between openness and pause, deliberately slowing the pace of entry into the store.

The Klein blue carpet laid in the front hall is the result of repeated consideration between function and experience. On one hand, it enhances comfort while walking and lingering; on the other, the Klein blue is introduced in a non-decorative manner, forming a clear and stable visual memory within the overall gentle spatial tone.

The back hall is relatively compact in scale, with a lighter color palette used to ease spatial pressure and improve comfort. The air-conditioning system was integrated into the design from an early stage and positioned above the shoe area. This allows the lower ceiling height to serve areas primarily used in a seated posture, while reserving a more generous ceiling height for the cashier area, ensuring that different functions receive more appropriate spatial conditions during use.

Warm-toned wood runs throughout the entire space—from the front hall to the back hall, and from columns and furniture to display cabinets and shelving—becoming an important component of spatial organization.

In the design of the display system, shelves combine stainless steel with layered boards, avoiding the limitations of single horizontal rods and allowing clothing and accessories greater flexibility in arrangement. Some shelves are designed to be movable, responding to the brand’s evolving needs for use and display adjustments at different stages.
